Hello,
September has been a very busy month for the Compass Paranormal Team, returning to some of our favourite locations and investigating Historic buildings for the first time.
I would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful Sam and Gary Brown of UKPN Radio who stepped in to Host and be lead investigator’s on numerous events during September. Thus enabling the team to attend their Charity events, so keep on reading and I will tell more later.
One of the events Sam and Gary attended was ‘The Guildhall Leicester’ with one of the
team’s new mediums Michael Tottey. By the amount of emails and comments on
facebook from the guests, we know the night was a huge success and introducing a lot of
1st time guests to the world of Paranormal Investigations. Michael also stepped in at
extremely short notice to be our medium at the North East Aircraft museum, Sunderland,
which didn’t disappoint on the night and gave all the guests something to think about.
A great investigation with some fabulous activity which left even the team questioning
what was happening !A big thank you to Michael.
Another new medium to our team is Graeme Fryer, again a big thank you, the guests and the team had excellent results at Ruthin Gaol and Whittington Castle, where we recorded some wonderful EVP’s. We are still listening to 1 of our guests recordings which are amazing. Please keep watching our website and group pages on Facebook, where we will post these.
Barrie John our truly wonderful Medium and Friend has been very busy with the team. Barrie was our medium for the night at Bolton Castle 24th September, this location was a first for the team and I know it will be one of the team’s favourite Historic locations next year. Driving through
the narrow country lanes underneath the Bocage set the scene
for the nights event, and if it hadn’t been for Barrie’s “Donald Duck”
Sat Nav I am sure we would have been lost in the surrounding
countryside.
A fantastic night was had by all who attended and again we
recorded some vey interesting EVP’s. It will be a night we all truly
remember, not only investigating the ruins of this historic
600 year old castle where the silence and the shadows add to the
atmosphere of this once magnificent Castle steeped in it’s bloody
past, but to the bed chamber and suites where Mary Queen of Scots spent 19 years in captivity. Here we were amazed by strange light anomalies and noise’s…………and yes things did go bump in the night !!!!!!
Another new venue for the team ‘The old Beneficial School’ in Portsmouth, in aid of the “Keith Benett Appeal”, with Barrie John and the wonderful Sharon Barr……..yes Sharon again agreed to attend another Ghost Hunt, ( after her lone vigil at Oxford Castle). Even the ghostly knocks and bangs at the beginning of the night didn’t deter Sharon !!!!!!!!! Maybe we can convince Sharon she would be a great paranormal investigator? A big thank you to all who attended this event and those who donated Raffle prizes for this worthy cause including Brain Shepherd who donated two of his amazing Physic drawings.
Another event for ‘The Keith Benett Appeal’ was at Alan Barnetts shop “Beyond The Sense’s” in Surrey. Hosted by Dr Ciaran O Keeffe, a most interesting night for all who went to this informative workshop, the guests and Norrie miles, Cal Cooper , Sharon Barr, Marq English, Mandy Gibb, Alan Barnett, Stu from UKPN, Vicky Gibbons, Lynn Oliver and anyone else I may have forgotten all had a fantastic night and learnt such a lot from the workshop.
October see’s the team extremely busy with Halloween, and I look forward to reporting all the goings on next month.
