Fight your fears as the shadows close in within the darkened rooms of Belgrave Hall.

It is located North of the city of Leicester, originally built within a small village in 1709 for Edmund Craddock a'neuvaux riche hoisery merchant who died soon after its completion in 1713.

The Hall changed many times although the owners have always played in the economic,social and charitable life of the community, noticeably the Vann's who lived there from 1767 through to 1844 they ran a thriving Hoisery business from the hall employing the local framework knitters as outworkers, the Vann's gave generously to many local charities including leicesters very first free school.

John Ellis who purchased Belgrave Hall in 1845 and his family were also noted for their good work within the community, Ellis a wealthy businessman was responsible for introducing the railway into Leicester along with George stevenson around 1833.

In 1998 Belgrave Hall became famous as a haunted house that would never be forgotten as it caught the attention and fuelled the imagination of the worlds media, a ghost apparently being caught on the Hall's CCTV generated a great deal of interest so much that paranormal groups from all over the world arrived on its doorstep in order to investigate it.

Was this just an environmental coincidence of a simple leaf falling in front of the camera or are the previous occupants of the Hall still helping the community by drawing attention to this wonderful old location which is filled to the rafters with intrigue and atmosphere!!

The Hall is now a museum and the period rooms have a fresh natural look the ambiance and setting provide the perfect location for us to encourage visitors from the other side.

Is it the ambiance of this historic building why ghostly sightings have been witnessed so many times over the years by the visitors and staff?

Paranormal Activity includes:

Odd Smells, Hushed Voices, The ghost of a woman in white having been seen many times in the Music Room, and the sounds of her footsteps can be often heard as they croos the landing above, could this ghost be the apparition of one of Mr Ellis's daughters who are believed to still haunt this building today!

Will you dare to follow in the footsteps of Most Haunted and spend the night with us in this fascinating building renouned for its ghostly goings on and unexplained sights and sounds, step back intime to the victorian nursery and 18th Century Kitchen.

Join our team and Barrie John and see what we discover.

This is your oppurtunity to handle and be taught how to use our ghost hunting equipment correctly, ready for your own vigils.

We will then embark on a tour of the Hall with our team and medium, where who knows what we shall uncover.

You will have the oppurtunity to break off in your smaller teams and conduct your own vigils, under the watchful eyes of our experienced team.

You will constantly have the oppurtunity to join in with experiments such as table tipping, seances and glass divination.

If you dare, you can choose to stay alone in areas which we know to be of strong paranormal activity, but be warned we will be carrying out experiments to encourage ghostly happenings.

Belgrave Hall is a very active paranormal location, therefore guests are reminded to expect the unexpected.

Remember to bring a torch and camera / camcorder to the event, you never know what you may catch !
